Valentine's Family Fun

I was wanting to get some ideas on what we could do as a family on Valentine's Day. I really wish that we could leave BOTH boys and Britt and I go out, but no one will watch Kaycen right now because he is going through seperation anxiety and wont let me out of his sight. Poor baby, melts my heart and frustrates me all at the same time. So I am trying to think of something fun for us to do Saturday. Britt wanted to take us all ice fishing, but I think Kaycen would get too cold. I know he would love it because he loves to be outside almost as much as Keyton does. And in all reality, it would be more for Britt than the rest of us. Ok so Keyton would like it a lot as well but I think it needs to be saved for a Dad and Son outing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What is blogging anyways??

So I really have been thinking about this 'blogging' stuff lately. I love to surf around and check out others blogs. Well I realized I wanted to do more blogging with what REALLY happens in my everyday life rather than just always sharing good times with pictures. So sorry to those in advance, but I will be doing more writing on here than just pics and how great things are. It really has helped me to see those people who blog every day or every other day and just put in a little blurb about what life really is. I think its nice to realize that we all have struggles and life really is not always hunky dory as we portray all the time. I hope no one thinks I am dissing their blog... because really I am not. I just was thinking that for me and my sanity to release some feelings for the day would be to just sit down and let it out. So thanks Stephanie, you have helped me understand what blogging is going to be for me!!

Boys and their toys!

I was trying to get some 7 month pics of Kaycen to post with his stats since we just went to the doctor but Keyton was not going to let Kaycen be the only one in the picture. He is so funny. So here are his stats...
Weight 18 pounds and in the 34%
Height 26 inches ( I think he is a little taller than they say) 11%

Keyton wanted to give Kaycen a ride on his wheeler. Kaycen thought it was great.
Keyton pulling some tricks, I think he will need an upgrade this summer dont you?!!

Last month pics are here, sorry so late.

Yum, Yum, Kaycen loves to chew on his toes! He has been doing this for over a month now. Its fun to watch the new things they discover and do. I love my Kaycer Man!!
Kaycen loved the wrapping paper. He was fun this year at Christmas. We would just sit him on the floor and he would wrip the paper and eat it and be content until we had to take it away so he wouldnt choke, then he was mad. Kids are so much fun.

This is all the Briggs grandkids (with the exception of Kaycen and Liliona) with their P'J's from Santa. The adults get pajamas as well but we didnt get a pic of all of us this year. Thanks Santa!

Briggs Family Party... all the kids line up in a row waiting for their present. Aunt Coleen gets everyone a gift and then says go and all the kids rip open their presents at the same time. It's so funny to watch because whoever gets their present open first, the other kids are like... WOW thats cool and almost forget about theirs.

Here is Keyton sporting the Rudolph nose. And poor Jeron is sick and in trouble in the back ground.

Poor Keyton was SO sick Christmas Day, this picture is the day after Christmas, we took him to the doctor later that day. Even though he was sick he still played hard and didnt miss a beat. If you look close above his right eye he has a bruise, poor kid. And his eyes are all red and boogery. His nose was sore by this time as well with wiping it every five seconds.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Wow! What a busy and fun holiday season we had. I wish I could say things are slowing down but it doesn't really seem that way. I guess with the boys, working at home, being a Mom and house cleaner it seems to never end. What I wouldn't give for a nice one hour pedicure right now. We started off the holiday with the annual Briggs Christmas Party. What a fun weekend this year we had. With the talent show, food, laughter, food, presents, food, the Briggs way of changing Coleen's light bulbs (you will have to see the video footage taken to understand) and did I mention food; It will definitely be a year to remember. Thanks to all for the wonderful gifts we and our kids received. Then the annual Christmas Eve Klingler Party. The kids are hilarious to watch when Santa came to visit. Keyton wont get but 5 feet away, and only would get close enough to swipe the present and get a good distance away to enjoy opening it. We ate lots of good finger foods and played the adult present exchange game. Thanks for all the fun and gifts we received! Later that night we went to the Briggs to eat Christmas Eve Dinner. Yum, just wish I hadn't ate so many finger foods. Christmas Day started off about 8:30 am. My poor Keyton was SO sick. His eyes were all boogery shut and he had a terrible cough. After he seen all the presents he brightened up and opened everyones presents including his own of course. It was such a great day stay home and just enjoy each other. Later that day my Dad and Grandpa Wright came over. Thanks for all the gifts you gave to us as well. We love you all. New Years Eve..well sick again. Fun for us all. We just went and hung out with Kim and Den and shared the sickness (they were sick as well and blame us for getting them sick). My New Years Resolution is to meet with a Dietitian and get a food and exercise plan to lower Britt's blood pressure and to hopefully lose some weight, we both need it. Also to be more patient and to make more time for my boys each day. I want to get a routine in my life so maybe things would run a little smoother. Wish me luck cause I am gonna need it!! Stay tuned I will get some pics up later this week.
