Happy Halloween !!
This year I made both boys' costumes! It was quite the job, but I think they turned out pretty good! They were so cute in their Scarecrow and Little Crow costumes! A 10 year old girl from the carnival painted Keyton's face. She did a great job!
On a side note: I entered the boys in a costume contest on Love Stiched blog and they got featured! How cool is that!!

October Fun
The boys had a really fun fall this year. Keyton was so cute about telling me it was fall and he knew this because the leaves were falling off the trees.

Keyton's first day of Pre-School
I have been crazy busy lately that I am getting SO behind on my blogging. Keyton was so excited to start Pre-School and I think I was just as excited. When I walked him up to the door I started feeling all these emotions start to run, I never thought I would be one of those 'moms' to cry when their first born went to school. I didnt cry but I wanted to when I walked back to the car. I just can't get over how grown up Keyton is getting. I have been writing things down he randomly says from time to time. As soon as I gather them all up I will post. Kaycen had a hard time that Keyton got to go and he didnt. He cried every time we dropped Keyton off. After about 2 weeks we has changed his tone and now tells him bye with a smile. I think Kaycen has realized he gets me for 2.5 hours all to himself. Keyton is just loving school and I couldnt be more happy. Dragging one kid around running errands it so much easier than the two of them together. Hence why I hardly ever went shopping anywhere with the two of them :) Here is the pictures his teacher sent from the first day...
Keyton's teacher Mrs. Woolley says "Keyton is SO fun to have in class! He is really sweet and plays so nice with everyone!"
Love this kid ;)

Britt & Crystal's weekend vacation
9/4/2010~~ Britt and I decided to take a little vacations just the two of us over the weekend. We didnt want to go too far, so we decided to go to Jackson, Jenny Lake, through Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone Park to Cooke City, MT and then through Yellowstone Park again to West Yellowstone and home. It was so beautiful and such a great weekend to spend together.

Random August Pictures
I wanted to post some random pictures I took in August that I just love!
Scoot & Tar when they were little... Tar is in heaven, I think the racoons got him, and Scoot is as big and healthy as ever. You don't realize how much you get attached to an animal until they are gone.
Keyton
Bugs and Cubs
Kaycen
Keyton and Britt feeding the baby calf
Kaycen riding the mechanical bull... they didnt make it move, but he loved it still. After this every cow we saw he wanted to ride. He is so funny.
Keyton playing some hop scotch.

Pocatello Zoo & Ross Park
8/12/10 -- We went to Pocatello to the Zoo with Aschli and her boys (no husbands). I really was dissappointed and thought that it was supposed to be a better zoo than Idaho Falls Zoo. But the boys loved it so thats really what counts!
This porcipine was probably my favorite. It was so cool to watch him eat his lunch. They really are a neat animal.
Kaycen going down the slide.
Keyton going down the slide at the Zoo... probably their favorite part of it.
Aschli taking Keyton and Cooper on the lazy river. Keyton thought this was pretty cool!
The boys had so much fun. Next year we will take the husbands with us and spend the whole day there. Kaycen took a little nap and played in the water and loved it. Keyton probably stayed in the water 95% of the time we were there. He didnt want to leave when it was time to go... my little fish :)

Please can we have a baby girl?
The boys (well Keyton mainly) have been begging for a baby sister. They just can't get enough of these brand new babies we see. I thought it was just a phase thing, but Keyton just wont let it go. He has been asking almost everyday for over 2 weeks. So the other day I was going to get down to business with him and ask him some questions about why he wanted this baby girl so much. Here is how it went...
Me "Hey Bugs, so you really want a baby sister huh?"
K "ya, Mom."
Me "Where do babies come from?"
K "From Heaven up in the sky."
Me "Really!?! Well how do we get them to our house?"
K "Just go pick her up at the doctors."
Me "oh really?!! (thinking, wow, if it was really that easy?!)
K " yep, so lets go get one!"
First I thought how cute that he could love any baby that was waiting for us to pick up at the doctors house. One thing with kids is that they just love everyone and everything without any questions. Such sweet souls. Then after thinking longer I thought well, he is 4. So maybe I should tell him a little more about babies. He really hasn't been around anyone pregnant in our family and just hasn't asked when we see people. So this is what I proceeded to tell him...
Me "You are right, babies do come from Heaven. When they are teeny tiny they come down from Heaven and get in a Mommy's belly. (He gave me this look like, you are joking me right?) Then they stay in there until they get big enough. Then the mom goes to the doctor at the hospital and they get the baby out of her belly and then they bring the baby home."
Keyton kinda sarcastically replies "great!"
It was all I could do to not burst out laughing at his cute facial expressions trying to process everything I just told him. But you know, ever since this conversation he hasn't asked for a baby sister ;)

All Worn Out
This summer the kids have cracked me up with the different ways and places they have fallen asleep. I just wanted to remember a few...
Keyton asleep on the ground outside after playing in the hot sun all afternoon.
In the 'grey goose' after a long day at Grandma/pa Briggs house. Look at that face! lol.
Sleeping after a fun day playing with the cousins. I am so glad that binkie is gone ;)
Kaycen looked so comfortable Keyton decided to snuggle right in.
