Feelings...
I just wanted to write some feelings I have been having over the last week. Britt's cousin's little 18 month old boy got ran over and passed away. Sometimes I feel like I take my kids and life for granted. Meaning that I probably don't need to be quite so tough on my boys. Sometimes I will discipline Keyton and immediately think... I probably didn't need to be so hard on him. Let him be a kid! I am just SO grateful to have two healthy, handsome, happy, little boys. I know that from this day on I will look at my boys a little differently and count every minute I have with them as a special blessing. There are to many Mom's out there that don't have this opportunity or have lost a child. They bring so much joy into our lives that I cannot even begin to express. The kisses that Kaycen gives, open mouthed and all. The fishy kisses Keyton gives and the hugs that he is always willing to share. How much of a cuddler bug Kaycen is. I could just hold and cuddle and kiss on this baby all day long, too bad he wants to be independent and explore his world every once in awhile ;) The giggles that both boys have and the love that they have for each other just overfills my heart. The way that Keyton loves to tease people. Their hobbit feet that they got from their Dad! How both boys just are overjoyed with excitement when Britt walks through the door after work. Keyton's big brown eyes. Kaycen's soft cheeks to kiss on. The way they love to splash and play in the bathtub together. I could go on and on... These are the things that I want to remember and cherish forever and not to take for granted because we just never know what today or tomorrow will bring. I love you Britt and cant thank you enough for the two joys you have brought into our lives. This even more shows me how important it is to become an eternal family. I am so grateful for my family and extended family and the love and compassion that they share.

Easter Weekend
The anticipation at the Annual Teton Easter Egg Hunt!! Grandma Kim is waiting patiently with Jeron and Keyton.
Britt had to go out there with Keyton. He was all ready to go, then once the bell rang and everyone started yelling "GO, GO, GO!!" He froze up! Maybe next year we will both be able to watch from the sidelines.
Kaycen wouldnt keep his shoes on, and since he cant walk yet. I decided he probably wouldnt remember not getting to get in on the fun. Well Grandpa Dennis offered to take Kaycen. It was SO cute! He would carry him around, then when they got to an egg he would set Kaycen in the grass and Kaycen would get the eggs. Thanks for doing that, I would have been sad.
This picture shows the real side of an easter egg hunt. Keyton, Jeron and Alorah were so fun to watch run around. Keyton would pick up an egg, have to open it, and eat the candy before continuing on.
Coloring fresh chicken eggs from Grandpa Dennis' chickens. The kids had a blast. Keyton had to take off his shirt, he was getting dye EVERYWHERE!! He hasnt learned the meaning of being careful yet ;)
Cedes, Jeron, and Alorah getting in on the action. These kids are too cute!! Look at the expressions on their faces! Priceless! ha ha! What a fun weekend. The adults even had an Easter Egg Hunt. There is a grand prize egg and Holly snatched it right up again this year! Its on Holly, no mercy!! Thanks Kim & Den for everything you did for our families.

Keyton started his birthday a day early. He HAD to open the gift that Aunt Heidi and Uncle Jamey sent in the mail. He hasnt been able to put it down since. He LOVES play-doh!!

Liv International and Liv sXinney
Britt and I signed up to be Distributors to this wonderful product. Its all natural and has NO stimulants. We needed a little something to kick off our weight loss goals and I couldnt have come across this product at a better time. I could go on and on about it, but if anyone is interested in getting healthy, toning muscles, or losing weight you can look online at my website. If you are futher interested then email me and I can send you a link to another site that give you TONS of information. We also have product on hand and samples so if anyone wants to try it. I just think its great to be able to take a product that my boys can even use. Its safe when nursing and has helped other women to get that 'baby fat' off. We just got started today 4/13/09 so I will either post weekly or every two weeks of our progess. Wish us luck!! Here is the link...

Keyton, where are you?
I had just laid Kaycen down for a nap and couldn't hear Keyton playing anymore, well if you know Keyton it usually means only one thing... he is into something he knows he is not supposed to be. But to my surprise this is what I found instead...

It was late morning and so this wasn't something he usually did. I was hoping he wasn't feeling sick. Later that day and for the next 3 days he was sick. Poor kid, I don't know if we will ever quit catching bugs! Luckily the rest of us didn't get what he had. I did take the kids to the doctor 4/6/09 and Kaycen had TWO ear infections and since Keyton just couldn't get over this cough he had since Christmas and after the sickness from the nap above he got worse, he would have coughing spells at night and would sometimes cough so hard he would throw up. Dr. Hatch gave him an oral steroid,an antibiotic, and albuterol for breathing treatments at home. They gave him a breathing treatment before we left the office and what a difference it made. Today is 4/13/09 and he hardly ever coughs now. We are hoping it eventually goes completely away because the doctor said he could have asthma. He pray every day that's not the case.
Kaycen's Fall

My poor baby fell off of my bed for the first time 3/23/09. I had laid him down for a nap and just checked on him. Then not even two minutes later I hear a 'thump' and my heart just sunk. I ran as fast as I could to my bedroom. Poor Kaycer Man was on the floor crying in his 'I am hurt' cry. Yes, he has different cries for different things and I am impressed I have figured them out. Anyways, our bed has a wood frame so when he fell off he hit right between his eyes and across his eye and bottom left corner. I think I cried longer than he did. And as soon as he got ahold of this green straw he was fine. I was so scared that it could have been worse than just a bump on the head, but he didnt show any signs of problems, thank heavens!! Lesson learned, I will NEVER lay him on my bed again for a nap!Wednesday, April 1, 2009
Are you kidding me??? Again!!!
Keyton is back to getting into the fridge ALL THE TIME!! And I mean ALL THE TIME!! Once he eats one thing he is right back in for more. You would think I didnt feed this kid. But really he gets plenty to eat. I guess its probably partly my fault, because its kinda nice when they ask for something and can get it themselves... like a cheese stick or an apple. But recently he is back to just helping himself to whatever he feels like. A hole bag of chips, a bag of frozen huckleberries or strawberries, otter pops, fruit snacks, you name it! I have tried the naughtly corner, not allowing any treats for the day, and even tried child proof locks. He outmastered the childproof locks awhile ago. I even bought the ones you put on the door knobs and you have to pinch them to turn the knob... well he just pulls the plastic apart. Nothing can stop this kid, and I mean nothing!! So if anyone has any brilliant ideas on how to make an almost (april 9) three year old stay out of the fridge, I would greatly appreciate it.
