Keyton's run in with the mosquito's

Keyton is just like Britt and has this terrible allergic reaction to mosquito bites. Well he got his first one and the first one always is not too bad. Little did I know he actually got his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th bite as well. So the next morning he woke up and his ear looked a little red and swollen. I just thought he slept on it wrong but when it didnt go away and kept swelling I knew something was up. It swelled up three times the original size. He looked like Dopey from the seven dwarfs. It was so sad. It took about a day and a half of benedryl and ice for it to look the way is should again.
Later that day I went to find Keyton because I hadnt heard him in awhile and this is what I found... fast asleep outside on the ground :)

The last week...

The kittens have really been fun lately. Its funny how they have such different personalities. Here are a few pics Keyton and I got of them the other day.
This is their best hiding place, under the lawn mower and then both boys can't get them.

Skoot playing around.

I went outside to find Keyton and this is what I found.. yep, in his underwear... and then he found 2 very long dandylions that he thought would be funny to use as antennas.

Last night I held another craft night. It was fun visiting and making this cute flag. I am going to make a couple extra flags and also make firecrackers today. So excited! Thanks Kim for letting us use all your wood shop tools and home.

The AMAZING Silhouette !!!

I found this on a blog that was holding a giveaway and the minute I took a look at it and what it can do I was sold. If you purchase it before July 1st with the promotion code 'makeit' you get some cool free things plus $50 off. So I will be printing this and leaving it all over the house and maybe Britt will get the hint and buy it for me for my birthday ;) Here is the link...  http://www.qksilhouette.com/ It also compares side by side the Cricut and Cricut Expression (which I was wanting before I found this) here... http://www.qksilhouette.com/cricut.aspx

Happy Birthday Kaycen

The Cake
Blowing (well spitting) out the candles. We lighted them 3 times for him to blow out and sang happy birthday twice. It only happens once a year so we let them love it. You can see Keyton was
getting a little blow in as well ;)
Opening Presents
His stick horse that makes horse sounds. It was fun to watch him open one gift and then play with it until Keyton took it away so he would open another gift. It was driving Keyton crazy that Kaycen didnt open every present and then play with them. I think when they are this young its both of their birthdays. I can't believe my baby is 2. They grow so fast. Thanks Grandma's and Grandpa's for coming and the presents.

The Wedding

Shannon and Trevor's wedding June 12th turned out so well. Everything looked amazing including them. Here are a couple pics I took. I can't wait to get the cd from her photographer to get more pics.

KEYTON
Bailey (greg's daughter) Kaycen & Keyton. Both boys hands were covered in slivers the next day. We had to hold them down and get the bad ones. So sad. They didnt even complain once that day though.

Update of the last couple weeks.

Mother's Day Flowers -- Courtesy Sassy Floral in St. Anthony.

Grandpa Wright's 85th Birthday. I can't believe how active and busy he keeps and its probably the reason he is so healthy today. Especially after a bad year of falls, breaks, surgeries, and hospital stays.
Love you Grandpa :)
These are the two kitties I thought we had to have.....well lets just say that I changed my mind a few hundred times. Who knew boys could be so mean and cruel to kitties... lesson learned :) But we still have them, here they are playing in Britt's dirty work clothes basket in the back room. The black one is Tar and the yellow one is Skoot. They currently live outside and they couldnt be happier.. oh wait, thats me ;)

My little (well I think she is actually taller than me) sister's bridal shower. Showing off her wad of gum that she had in her mouth because she didnt answer the questions about her fiance' correctly. Still can't believe she is getting married. Seems like not long ago she was running around 3.5 feet tall in her pj's.

Here I tried and failed to be creative, lol. I wanted to make garden markers for our garden this year because I hate all the sticks and so my brilliant idea was to hand stamp the words of the vegetables on iced tea spoons. Well then a friend suggested I make a bunch and sell them at the Farmer's Market... SO if any of you are wanting them I have a few (ok like 60) left for a SMOKIN' deal ;) If you are interested they are 50 cents each ($1.50 reg. price) and I can email you a list of the ones I have left.

Cute, don't ya think. I even made ones that say 'bloom' and 'grow' to put in your flower pots for a little bit of vintage decor. Anyways, if you look on etsy.com they are selling for $5-$12 per spoon. So 50 cents each is a deal :)

Britt and the boys took a nap saturday (memorial weekend) for over 2 hours. There is no way I could lay there that long with them both on me. Why is it that kids sleep longer when someone is either holding them or they have someone next to them?

We were trying to keep Kaycen distracted before we had to leave for church and so I gave him my sunglasses. He thought he was pretty awesome. I can't believe he will be two in a few days.

We took the kids to the circus Monday (june 7th). They had lions, tigers, a bear, elephants that you could pay to ride, ponies you could ride as well. The kids really liked it. I think Kaycen actually enjoyed it more than Keyton. Keyton has a hard time and gets bored with things easily. He was more interested in playing on the stairs than watching the show the last 30 minutes.
Kaycen threw a huge fit when they made him get off the horse. He probably would have stayed there all night if they would have let him.

The end show was the elephants. Pretty good circus for Rexburg. They had other events I didnt take pics of. This one guy stacked and stood on 8-10 chairs. It was freaky, I was sure he was going to fall. Anyways, it ended up being a pretty fun family night.
