Kaycen was covering his face because the fire was so big and hot. It was so cute.
Kaycen even went and found his own roasting stick. I laughed because it actually was a pretty good one and had two ends. I think they liked playing in the fire more than eating the food.
The next morning we ate a yummy breakfast and headed out on a long four-wheeler ride. That's where I lost my camera. I was so sad, but was not too sad because I had just taken off all my pictures before that weekend. Well I got home called the police department, posted it 2 newspapers, and online. Tuesday evening I got a call from a guy that was on a family reunion who found my camera. Miracles do happen ;) I was sure I wouldn't be seeing that camera again.
Saturday night Kaycen bit off the end of his last binkie. He was so sad about it and I think I was even more sad. Its been a real saver of hearing a bunch of whining and crying but should have been gone months ago. The first two nights he woke up crying for an hour wanting it. I just gave him the hard plastic part and told him broken. I actually thought he would go through a worse withdrawal, but he actually did well and every time he would want it (either bedtime or when he got hurt) he would say "binkie, broken, sippy" so I would get his sippy and he would just be fine. I am so glad he was the one who pulled the sucky end off because if it would have been anyone else I am sure it wouldn't have been so easy. Note to self for future reference... Take binkie away no later than one years of age.

Britt and Kaycen looking off the deck out at the Palisades Reservoir.
We had such a great time, ate SO much food, almost burnt down the cabin. Good times! The boys had so much fun it took them two days to recover. That's some serious playing.

I am so glad there are still good people in this world who will return lost items. Looks like a great vacation.
